What is a Necklift?

A neck lift, also known as cervicoplasty or platysmaplasty, is a cosmetic surgical procedure aimed at improving the appearance of the neck. It involves removing excess skin and fat, tightening underlying muscles, and reshaping the neck area to create a more youthful and defined contour. This procedure is often sought by individuals looking to reduce sagging skin, eliminate wrinkles, or address the "turkey neck" appearance that can develop with age or weight loss.

What happens during your Necklift?

  3. Tissue Lifting: Underlying platysma muscle is lifted and tightened, flattening the neck bands

  4. Skin Repositioning: The remaining skin is repositioned for a smoother appearance and excess skin is removed

  5. Closure: Incisions are sutured closed, and the patient is monitored in recovery.
